Did you learn anything interesting from the FedEx Cup? Please let me know! Stay tuned as I reveal my in the near future. That means you Mr. Finchem!

I believe Tiger Woods made a strong statment, silently, by NOT kissing the FedEx cup after being told that it had not yet been kissed.

I love this whole post. Tiger IS the man...and Phil didn't win!!! Can you tell I'm not a big Michelson fan? Tiger played some of the best golf in years these past 4 weeks!

I think a playoff format where a player doesn't have to compete in all events doesn't make sense to me. I thought at the beginning of the playoffs, all points were supposed to be reset to zero. Instead, Tiger started with 100.000 points, so what kind of reset is that?

Tiger Woods never ceases to amaze me, that's for sure.

As for the FedEx cup, it was fun, but there were definite flaws. I'll be VERY interested to see how those issues are addressed. I think it's a great idea but changes for next year (or lack thereof) will determine if the FedEx cup flourishes or wilts on the vine.

We may have seen the big guns for a few weeks but from now until January 2008 (other than the presidents cup), good luck...

Anonymous,

Good observation about Tiger not kissing the cup. I thought the same thing when I saw it on TV. Clearly, it was done to antagonize PGA Tour Commissioner Tim Finchem. If Finchem really wanted Tiger to kiss the cup he would have told Tiger, "Please don't kiss the cup, your lips will tarnish the silver."
