I've already pointed out Wilson's giveaway of their new Staff Fifty balls. Now it's Maxfli's turn. Maxfli's new poster boy is none other than the party animal of the PGA, John Daly. They seem to have crafted a marketing campaign around that image. I'd describe it as a simple metaphor: golf course is a bar. On their website they use terms such as "get 'n loaded" and use beer coasters as icons. I'm not sure how successful this tact will end up being, but if it means free balls, I'm all for it!
