What if you log a boatload of hours perfecting the Wii controller technique only to discover those hours of simulation have grooved yourself a trashy swing. What may work well on the Wii may not translate to the course. That said... I'm itching to give it whack!

It's almost real, these video games. I wouldn't be surprised if these did significantly help your game.

Its still a game. I have a wii and bought Tiger Woods last weekend and have played it for about 6 hours. There is nothing in the game that translates well into real life. Anything but a full swing is hard to master and I have made around 5 holes in one on the game.

Its still a fun game. My buddies and I love to play it and talk smack when someone hits it 40 extra yards on a pitch.

I still enjoy the tennis game more.

-holy cow.
-what a day..
-the wind was 'a howl'in...
-the boegies were 'a mount'in....
-the wheels were 'a fly'in off all over agusta town.....

-the crowd's were gasp'in.
-nick faldo was weep'in..
-for his brothers in arms...
-the leaders were bleed'in....
-and the cut liner's kept creep'in back into the day....

-sunday is now wide open.
-with many in bed 'a hope'in..
-for the wind to die down...
-for the greens to slow down....
-for the gods to come aroun'.....

-if only tom watson were still in agusta town.
-to show these young guns how to stare the wind down..
-to wipe off the frown...
-an' try not to drown....
-take the masters crown.....
